If you have only fast scsi-2 devices or less than 2 Ultra (Wide) disk I will
recommend you to not buy a new controller for the moment.

Please elaborate. Why not? BTW, I do not have much choice. The card I have
locks up after a few hours use (in both Linux and DOS) and cannot be used until
it has cooled down. I am seriously concerned about unflushed caches, etc. and
I have a project for my kids' school that has to get done or their biggest fund-
raiser of the year will be a big flop.
