Having used a Mylex based array on a Digital Alpha OSF box with the right
tools I can say they were quite nice. You did have to fight the bugs in
the Motif interface but the ability to click on a drive and tell it to
do something was nice and all the raid recovery without a reboot - good
job considering the way the machine in question ate disks.
