Good day.
I'm considering replacing the Novell Netware 3.1x running on our
fileservers at the moment with Linux using NFS, and an NFS client for
DOS called XFS (using WatTCP) I'm also considering Samba instead of
NFS.
All kinds of facilities currently being provided by Netware need to
be filled in apart from the file services.
I'd love to hear opinions/comments. Has anyone else tried such a
thing?
My thinking is that Linux is just sooo much more flexible than
Netware - if I can get it to provide all the services that Netware
does at the moment, I'll be *really* pleased to throw Netware out the
window.
I'd prefer direct replies - I'll post a summary, thanks.
Regards
