It is possible in 1.3 Kernels, and the patch for 1.2 Kernels is under
ftp://ftp.inka.de/sites/lina/linux/route.

PS: U need to patch Kernel and the route command for 1.2 and the route
command only for 1.3. Alan has not yet released the new net-tools(?).
