[ What is Beowulf? ]

Check out ftp.damtp.cam.ac.uk:/pub/linux/bootpc/bootpc.tgz  It's not suitable 
for booting a system as you need to have the kernel up and running for it to 
work, but it is fine for configuring machines with their IP related info.

I use it for running Linux on machines which mainly run DOS via loadlin etc...

If nothing else then the cookie parser may be of interest, to save duplicating 
effort.

Let me know if you find any bugs in it.
