I have both SMC EtherPower cards, combo ones. I've always used the DE4x5
driver, it's not perfect it but it works.(eg. I ways get 3 errors during
boot, tho they don't affect the network later) When using 10base2 the
tupil.c driver never worked. Finally I got 40960 Jul 20 20:26 tulip+patches.tar
which autosenses the card, it still has some minor bugs, but it works,
and it's Faster then DE4x5 driver, alteast in the small tests that I've
done. (eg. pinging two SMC cards with both drivers, for 2 or 3 days,
FTPing large files, 80-500meg tar files. etc..)
