I just got back from vacation, so my apologies if this has been
covered and I missed it.
However, with kernel 1.2.11, libc 5.0.9 ELF binaries give a
segmentation fault. This is similar to the problem with early 1.3
kernels, except that it does not give an Oops: 2 message.
Furthermore, I cannot run recent 1.3 kernel due to my crappy NE2000
clone; with 1.2 kernels I have to give an ether=5,0x300,0,0,eth0
argument to prevent a lockup at boot, but it does not seem to help for
1.3.8.
