I was recently showing an Intel representative my Linux lab and he
was very impressed. He was unsure whether or not Intel ethernet
cards work reliably with Linux yet. He has heard conflicting reports.
He asked me to find out a few things:
1. Do Intel ethernet cards work reliably in the new Linux kernels?
(EtherExpress, new 100MB ethernet cards, etc...)
2. If they do not, what can Intel do to help?
He suggested that they might be able to help technically as well as
financially.
Can anyone answer any of these questions?
Sorry if this is not the appropriate group for this type of
discussion.
Thanks,
