I use/program on top of a 7-layer stack. The OSI stack is the
standard mandated by Bellcore for networking all SONET telephone equipment.
So, anyone who sells central office type telephone equipment in
North America uses OSI. (I won't even touch the subject if this
is or isn't a good thing :-)
Anyways, although I use it at work, I don't use it on Linux.
But I might soon if isode is half as promising as it looks :-)
