Hi:
Well, i've got a really great problem. (at least for me)
I'm connecting to internet with PPP.
Well, my problem is this:
I'm using pppd 2.1.7 to make the connection. When i start my computer,
the first time i try to connect, it works OK after closing the
connection and hanging up,if i try to connect again it doesn't work. It
shows the message connected-->ppp0 and after that, when it has to
receive the dynamic IP address it hangs up.
Well, the funny thing is that there's a way to make it work everytime...
If i install 16 Mb RAM in my computer instead of 32Mb it usually has,
everything works ok.
I mean, it connects perfectly everytime i try without having to reboot
the computer.
Ah! i forgot to say that when it has 32Mb and I try to connect the
second time it doesn't work, but if in that moment i reboot and try the
connection, it connects normally.
Another thing i didn't say is that whe i have 16Mb my computer has it's
memory full while with 32Mb it has 13 Mb free.
I wonder if it could happen that with 32 Mb something from pppd still in
memory (i.e. something relationed with the IP address) and when i try
again to connect the protocol use it instead of answering for somenthing
new.

I will be very happy if someone could give me a solution for this
problem.

Thanks in advance.
