UK providers always provide an NT1. Its a natty little box on the
wall with connectors you can't get to, a tendancy to fall off the
wall when kicked, an awkward form factor and generally a great
triumph of prettyness over functionality. It also has a little green
LED on it. When that goes out (too often), you phone BT up and ask
what they think they are playing at :-(

If you have any oppotunity of using another supplier it will probably
