AHA2940 configuration question.

	The AHA2940 SCSI adapter is visible from windows 95 but
linux kernel unable to recognise it. It reports 0 hosts. I even tried
with remdisk aha294x:0x340,11,7,1 at boot prompt without any luck.

	I have a plug & play AMIBIOS.

	Any help on this is appriciated.
