 I'm running 3.6.Alpha1.

I have the dumps at work, but from memory, the only difference was that
the ICMP redirect from the Linux router contained a TOS field and the one
from the Cisco did not. The result was that the remote end actually sent
a RST packet and reset the connection. This doesn't happen the second
time (with the Linux router) and the connection succeeds. After some
timeout period that I haven't figured out yet, another telnet or attempted
connection will fail; the subsequent attempt will again succeed.

I will send the dumps tomorrow.

 Thanks for the help.
