The above Mentioned Patchfile is the NET3 Snapshot Release from Alan Cox
against the 1.2.8 Kernel. The Patchfile you are talking about is named
patch-1.2.8.gz. (linux.vanilla is used by Alan Cox, not Linus)

Thats right, and thats why I mentioned it. NET3 IS Developing Material.

There is currently no 1.3 Tree, because of this Alan released the Patches as
a Snapshot of his current Development.
