What ever you changed for 2.0.1, Alan, it finally fixed fixed the
"warning - sendto ... Operation not permitted" error I've been seeing
with mrouted since the 1.3.80's. Thanks!

Now, back to the six month process I've been going through trying to
get MBONE working at my office. Has anyone successfully gotten Linux
with mrouted working in the following configuration:

           tunnel          ethernet          ethernet
    MBONE --------> Linux ----------> Linux ----------> Linux/PC
                   mrouted           mrouted              SD

When I tested it back in the 70's, with a temporary tunnel to another
site, traffic would not pass beyond the first Linux box. I'm still
not sure if that was a problem with the software, or the configuration
I was using back then. Unfortunately, that tunnel is no longer
available, and I don't want to get a proper MBONE feed until things
are confirmed to be are working. If anyone would be willing to setup
a tunnel to me for a couple of months (low, low bandwidth) I'd really
appreciate it.

As always, my trials and tribulations are documented at:
