Or perhaps is it that FreeBSD users have more confidence in their operating
system :-)
We have customers with multiple T1s doing some pretty powerful things. The
bottom
line is that Linux may not (currently) be appropriate for a "big" router.
But the fact
of the matter is that our card is more powerful than some of the most powerful
routers that cost 10 times as much. We explain these fallacies on our web

Its not heady stuff. But like yourself, most people think that they're
getting a better solution
with a "big" router and in many cases they're not.
