The "Vortex" driver from D. Becker, namely the driver for the 3c590/3c595
network adapters, still refuses to see a 3c595 adapter in case a 3c590
is present too.

Moreover, in that driver there are a number of waiting loops which wait
far longer than necessary, due to a mistake in the test of the loop condition.
This bug affects performance, though not dramatically.

I submitted a patch to the former bug a long time ago, and I e-mailed
Donald Becker for the latter bug last month, but "the song remains the same"...
