I have installed RedHat 3.0.3 and two ethernet cards. I have 1 block of
class C IP's. What I want to do is setup linux as a Gateway between my
CISCO Series 2500 Router and my local Ethernet. Could someone that has
done this by subnetting a portion of the class C for the local Ethernet
please help me out? I understand subnetting but when I set it up on the
linux box (with proper routing and Ip forwarding turned on), the linux
box wouldnt respond to the CISCO's "WHO HAS xx.xx.xx.xx" Queries.

Thanks,

Jacque Bussey
