I only see "scoket destroy delayed" after I shutdown and
don't turn off the machine after it says "System halted".
(newer kernels).
Which brings up another point...shouldn't the shutdown sequence
(i.e. halt) actually stop the machine? When I halt, it
says "system halted"
but it still responds to <cntl-alt-del>
