Hi all,
I'm new to Linux and was wondering if there is a HOWTO on
installing Linux over a drive overlay. I installed it on a machine
with an overlay on it just as I did on my machine without an overlay.
Set up the partitions, mkswap, mke2fs etc. Ran the setup and installed
the basic stuff including LILO, but when I rebooted I got some critical
errors regarding access to /dev/hda1 (the dos partition). I've looked
on the web for OVERLAY Howto and the like but wasn't able to find any
thing that was specifically named Overlay Installation Howto.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
