I still have many problems trying to set up a PCI ethernet card in my linux box
with an Adaptec 2940 SCSI card. I have tried both the 3COM 590 and the
SMC 8432.

I seems that both the Adaptec 2940 and the ethernet card want IRQ
10. The boot sequence reports that both get IRQ 10, and then when I try
to ifconfig up the ethernet card, it complains with a 'SIOCFLAGS try
again' or something.

This does not occur with ISA cards. What can I do about it?

Thanks,
 -sen
