Just a small question: is it possible for a WD8003-old clone to cause
a lockup, just like a NE2000 by pulling I/O CH RDY on the ISA bus?
I had a lockup yesterday with 1.2.4 - not that bad, it was up 19 days :-)
on an old 386, so this could be some other hardware problem as well.
Thanks for the latest 8390 patch - I'm now running 1.2.6 with this patch.
I will report the result when it locks up or after 3 weeks, whatever
comes first :-).
(BTW, my original message "NE2000 and 3C503 drivers" was sent to the list
twice - sorry about that. For some reason, sendmail decided to send two
copies of the same message. This is 8.6.12 compiled from the original
source. If anyone knows why this happens, and how to fix this problem,
please mail me. Thanks.)
