I am intermittently getting a 'socket destroy delayed (r=0, w=252)' and
the network connection hangs.
Here is the setup. I have a local net with a host named pokie connected
to the internet (via a commercial provider). Other machines on the local
net are not connected to the internet. All are connected with one
thinnet daisy chain.
Typically, the system will work for awhile and then hang. When it
hangs, it can be either local net <-> pokie, or pokie <-> internet which
hangs. It is never the case that thee is a problem on the local net
itself. Before pokie was connected to the internet, the local net
worked fine.
Last night, I logged into the newsserver provided by the commercial
carrier and noticed the following error messages using dmesg. The
address 198.109.161.67 is that of pokie (provided by the commercial
carrier).
ed0: warning - receiver ring buffer overrun

Any ideas?
