I am getting routing errors on one box on my net and would appreciate
some advice.
I have a SUN, NEXT, and linux box connected on a local thinwire net and the the
linux box is connected to a commercial internet provider.
My linux box has an address of the form 198.109.x.x while my SUN and
NEXT have addresses of the form 35.8.x.x I keep getting error messages
on the SUN (hostname is peakie) of the form
peakie in.routed[100]: packet from unknown router, 198.109.165.1
peakie in.routed[100]: packet from unknown router, 198.109.166.1
peakie in.routed[100]: packet from unknown router, 0.0.0.0
Also, when I check my routing tables on peakie, here is what turns up
Routing Table:
Destination Gateway Flags Ref Use Interface
-------------------- -------------------- ----- ----- ------ ---------
localhost localhost UH 0 9 lo0
35.8.6.0 35.12.225.1 UGH 0 0
35.15.255.0 35.12.225.1 UGH 0 0
131.103.0.0 35.12.225.1 UG 0 0
35.0.0.0 peakie U 4 20 le0
224.0.0.0 peakie U 4 0 le0
default peakie U 4 13 le0
default 35.12.225.1 UG 0 0
The only ones which are set up when peakie is booted are
localhost localhost
35.0.0.0 peakie
224.0.0.0 peakie
default peakie
Where do the other ones come from?
Should I set up routing to the 198.109.x.x network?
Thanks,
-sen
