There is a mini-HOWTO on the subject, on sunsite.unc.edu in
/pub/Linux/docs/faq/HOWTO/mini (or something like that). But,
assuming that your token ring card works under dos, it should
be just a matter of recompiling any recent kernel and enabling
the token ring driver (recent kernels come with the token ring
driver in the kernel source). The only restriction is that you need
a token ring card with ibm's triton chipset, but thats most
of popular ones. The driver does a pretty good job at autodetecting
the card, and works well as long as the configuration of the MAU
doesn't change a lot (else you may need to reboot from time to time).
I've been using my linux box as a token ring to ethernet router for
over a month now without problems.
