With my kmalloc-debug patches, I've observed that sometimes the system
steps on memory after it's been freed from net/inet/timer.c:127.
This is detected after the memory is reallocated. Of course, if the
reallocation happens before the step-on, we've got corrupted memory on our
hands. :-(
I'm currently putting various checks into the networking code to see
whether a socket we're trying to use is still officially in use. Any bright
ideas where to look are appreciated.
