Re: BOCA PCI Ethernet - Spoke too soon

I got my Boca PCI card back on Friday, plugged it in, and found that the
problem still existed. On further examination, I found that the card's
Ethernet address did not match the one I had sent in, that there were no
easily-visible changes to the board, and that the shipping list had the
designation "N/C EXCHANGE" on it. Apparently, they did _not_ fix my
board... they just sent me another one, which appears to have exactly
the same problem.

I called and got another RMA number, and expressed my _severe_
unhappiness to the tech-support phone-answering person.

The card goes back to them again on Monday, this time with a big fat
note attached which says "READ THE RMA. I NEED AN UPGRADED CARD" or
something of that nature.

If _that_ doesn't work, I'm really going to get sore.
