Hi David,
The problem is not that your modem is not working as it works with the other packages. It may lie in the
modem initialisation string. Refer to your manual (as they modem init. strings differ). You may need to set
your modem to track the presence of the carrier detect signal from your service provider. try the
following:
set your modem init to &f, this will give you the factory default settings

try: &c1&k3 - k3 does not work with a small amount of modems.

look on the web for Mrmodem (websearch will find it). It may have your model and a string it recommends.

If all that fails try setting a larger delay value into your script after connection.
