My guess is that your server isn't calling itself the right thing, but that
doesn't explain why it runs on port 8080. I am not sure if this is right for
CERN (I use Apache now), but try editing the httpd.conf (or whatever it is
called) and add a line similar to
ServerName host.foo.com
