The SMC EtherPower card uses the DEC 21040 chipset, for which
Don Becker has written a driver. You can obtain the latest version
of this driver at http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/tulip.html.
The driver is included in the standard kernel source tree, but you
have to uncomment the following line in /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/config.in:

# bool 'DEC 21040 PCI support' CONFIG_DEC_ELCP n

	Hope that helps.
