There is now a userfs mailing list at Rutgers. To subscribe, send
mail containing:
subscribe linux-userfs
to majordomo@vger.rutgers.edu. The list itself is linux-userfs@vger.rutgers.edu.
The list is for discussion of new ideas for using userfs, enhancements
to the kernel code or clients, problems, etc.
Userfs allows user processes to be mounted as filesystems; for example,
ftpfs is a program which uses userfs to present a filesystem interface
to ftp sites.
Userfs available from:
sunsite.unc.edu:pub/Linux/ALPHA/userfs/userfs-0.9.tar.gz
tsx-11.mit.edu:pub/linux/ALPHA/userfs/userfs-0.9.tar.gz
ftp.connect.com.au:pub/linux/kernel/userfs-0.9.tar.gz
Make sure you also pick up the patch userfs-0.9-0.9.1.diff.gz when you
get the main file.
