----- LINUX USER'S GROUP -----
Attention all UC Los Angeles Linux users! We are forming a user's
group here on campus. As you know, Linux
* is a FREE, complete, and popular Unix operating system for the PC
* uses 32-bit protected mode and features multitasking, multiusers,
networking, X Windows, and more.
The UCLA Linux User's Group hopes to accomplish the following goals:
* provide complete distributions of Linux
* share and provide software and ideas
* help users set up their Linux hard and software
* give advice as to what hardware and software to buy
* answer any questions people have regarding Linux
Come to our meeting to find out what Linux is and what our group is
about.
FIRST GENERAL MEETING:
Date: Thursday January 26, 1995
Time: 6:00 PM
Place: Boelter Hall 8500 (SEAS Penthouse)
If you have any questions or comments, contanct Danny Sung at
dannys@seas.ucla.edu or use our mailing list, linux@seas.ucla.edu.
