Announcing the first release of the MORDOR MUD driver with source
code. This is a completely new MUD driver that includes:
o completely new code (not just another DIKU/LP variant)
o interactive combat
o interactive talking mobs
o online creation
o offline creation and editing with menu system
o and much, much more!
This driver is known to run on Linux, FreeBSD, and SunOS 4.0, and
should compile on most BSD systems.
Mordor 2.5 beta can be obtained from parker.bio.uci.edu as
/pub/mordor/Mordor_2.5.tgz, or from sunsite.unc.edu as
/pub/Linux/games/muds/Mordor_2.5.tgz.
