I've just uploaded rocat-0.86.tar.gz to /pub/Linux/Incoming on
sunsite. It should move to /pub/Linux/system/BBS on sunsite soon.
rocat is a fully featured BBS system in the DOS style. That is, it
has many of the features and capabilities of the DOS style BBS, but, with
all of the DOS braindamage removed. It is fully multi-user and is expected
to run on a minimum of hardware.
rocat-0.86 allows multi-lingual BBS systems. Each user can pick a
native language and that language will be what the user sees when they log
on. Of course, this can be turned off for those with single language
needs.
The source is entirely in C++ and compiles without problem on Linux.
I hope to setup a mail-list for rocat in the near future.
Greg.
