-=[* All Linux, All The Time *]=-

Hello everyone! =) If you've you have been IRC'ing on the big EFNet network
for any length of time, I'm sure you've noticed both the servers constantly
spliting away and the 10 - 200 second lag time. Ask anyone who knows, and
they'll tell you the entire EF-Net is going to hell on a fast train, and
they only thing anyone can do about it is to sit back and enjoy the ride.
Any day now, the whole thing is going to implode and die for good!

We, the former propriators of the EFNet #linux channel, noticed this fact a
long time ago -- and we decided to do something about it. We created our own
IRC network. An network for Linux enthusiasts, run by Linux enthusiasts,
created with Linux enthusiasts in mind. An international network with IRC
servers from Seattle to the United Kingdom, and a T1 backbone to hold
everything together. The LinuxNET lag time is less then a second and , our
server splits are announced ahead of time. What more could you ask for?

To join LinuxNET, simply /server to one of the hosts listed below.

		       S E R V E R L I S T :
linuxnet.one.net (T1) | melab1.me.pvamu.edu (T1)
azalea.fao.uci.edu (T1) | hugh.eece.unm.edu (T1)
palu.gactr.uga.edu (512k) | sunacm.swan.ac.uk (512k)
homer.ncm.com (128k) | alaska.net (56k)
linuxnet.fileshop.com (56k) | linuxnet.basegrp.com (56k)
irc.lame.org (28.8k) | kia.xensie.com (14.4k)
eboerner.extern.ucsd.edu (14.4k)

All hosts use the standard ircd v2.8.21, so you don't have to worry about one
of the incredibly lame UnderNET "features" ruining your fun. =)
