Due to a (hopefully) final set of bugs which people have reported, I've
made another release of e2fsprogs. Also, due to the confusion in the
version number scheme of e2fsprogs, I've finally decided to make a break
with the old version numbering scheme, which was less than satisfactory
for a number of reasons. It caused confusion and it made hard to do
minor bug-fix releases.

So, I am hereby releasing e2fsprogs version number 1.01. Hopefully
people have caught the last of the bugs at this point, so this we won't
need to do many more pure bug-fix releases; at this point, I think we've
managed to smoke out the all of really serious, show-stopping bugs.
Hence, this version should definitely be better than the previous 0.5b
and 0.5c releases, and so I encourage people to upgrade to e2fsprogs
1.01 at their earliest convenience.

Release notes:

	* Fixed a minor bug in dumpe2fs which caused the wrong value to
be printed out when displaying the reserved blocks group
		id.
	* fixed a typo in fsck which caused it to coredump if you
explicitly specified a device to fsck.
	* when making the /etc/mtab code more portable to other
operating systems, some assumptions were added
that broke for the /etc/rc.d scripts on a number
popular distributions. (This bug only affected systems
that had multiple filesystems --- i.e., more than just a
root filesystem.) This bug was fixed.
	* Added the -soname option to the linker when building the ELF
shared library. This allows programs to automatically
use future (updated) versions the ELF shared library,
		since soon-to-be released binutils/ld.so won't do this
		automatically anymore.
