NEWS for 2.0.4:
* Various Makefile fixes.
* Install pbmplus.h
* Enable parsing X11 colour names in PPM library + patch to ignore
comments while reading (Jaime Lokier)
* patch to pbmplus.h for c++ (Jamie Lokier)
NEWS for 2.0.3:
* Makefiles are cleaned up. Now archive libs are built without -fpic,
and both shared and archive libs are built with more optimization.
* Header files are also installed by make install.
WHAT IS LIBGR?
This is a collection of graphics libraries, including:
fbm, jpeg, pbm, pgm, png, pnm, ppm, rle, tiff, zlib.
These are configured to build ELF static and shared libs.
This collection (libgr2) is being maintained by Neal Becker
(neal@ctd.comsat.com)
This package is based on libgr-1.3, by Rob Hooft (hooft@EMBL-Heidelberg.DE).
Thanks to piercarl@sabi.demo.co.uk (Piercarlo Grandi) for helpful
suggestions to clean up the Makefiles.
