(Why oh why don't my alpha testers find these problems?)
Murphy strikes again! Right after I put out my last release, someone
reports a fairly major bug in lsattr. You'll know if you have a bad
lsattr; just run it, and if you get back a bunch of "file not found"
error messages, you have the buggy version. (Actually, the bug was in
libe2p shared library.)
I've put out another release of e2fsprogs 0.5c, dated 27-Oct. If you're
grabbing e2fsprogs 0.5c from a mirror, look for the file
E2FSPROGS-0.5C-VERSION-IS-27-OCT. That will tell you that it's pulled
over the latest verion of the file.
I apologize for the inconvenience. With any luck, this should be the
final release of e2fsprogs 0.5c.
