Hello there,
The Sliptime version 1.21. contains 4 Perl scripts for use with Linux/Unix
systems. The purpose of the scripts are:
1.) Registration of phonecosts for slip connections.
2.) Registration of phone (modem) time for slip connections.
The Sliptime set can be obtained at ftp.icce.rug.nl (129.125.14.129) using
anonymous ftp. It is located as an archive Sliptime-1.21.zip in the directory
pub/unix. The set may furthermore be available at the Linux site
sunsite.unc.edu, though I have no idea when.
The reason that I wrote the Sliptime scripts is first of all to keep up with
the phonecosts, so I won't be surprised by phonebills anymore (I hope).
The scripts are written for use in The Netherlands especially, but the
scripts are with some adjustments suitable for use elsewhere.
Ofcourse you need to have Perl installed on your system, but who hasn't?
