Presenter: Don Harper (Don.Harper@Chron.COM)
When taking time from his day job at the Houston Chronicle,
Don helps run the Houston Linux Users Group (HLUG, a
SIG of HAL-PC), and helps educate the Houston populace about
Linux and related topics.
Don is presenting a minimalist implementation of TCP/IP
using Linux as the operating system in this "hands on" case
study. This session is directed at getting machines to
talk to each other using TCP/IP. We will be covering
congfig files, progrms/daemons, and other required
facilitiies. Of course after we get things going, the subject
may roam from there.
The meeting is this Wednesday evening, Oct 25, 1995, at 7:00pm, at the
HESS Building (Houston Engineering and Scientific Society), located at
3121 Buffalo Speedway, between Richmond and Alabama. A map is attached
below.

HOW TO FIND HOUNIX
Hounix meets in the HESS building on Buffalo Speedway.
HESS stands for the Houston Engineering & Scientific Society.
The building also previously housed Philadelphia American Life Insurance Co.
HESS is located at 3121 Buffalo Speedway, between Richmond and Alabama.
