I uploaded vuzkern, a small util for reading compressed kernel info.
I placed it on sunsite's Linux/Incoming/ and expect it to be moved to 
/pub/Linux/system/Misc/. 

vuzkern reads a linux kernel zImage (compressed kernel) and tells you
what version it is and its rdev parameters. It can also display all its
internal strings or an uncompressed binary image of the kernel. Useful
if you keep many zkernels around, as I do, and quickly want to identify
them.

I have tried it with 1.2.x and 1.3.x kernels and it works well. I have
not tried it with ELF kernels but I believe it should work for them also.
