The third meeting of the Washtenaw Linux Users Group.

Thursday, September 21 at 8:00 pm.

It will be held at Washtenaw Community College in the Technical &
Industrial Building, room 224 (TI224). Washtenaw Community College
is located at 4800 East Huron River Drive (east of Ann Arbor and
west of Ypsilanti). A campus map is available online at

Short Description:
------------------
A gathering place for Linux users at the University of Michigan,
Eastern Michigan University, Washtenaw Community College, and the
general public in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area.
There is currently a mailing list for the users group. Send an e-mail
subscription request to Linux.Users.Group-request@umich.edu and any mail
for the group to Linux.Users.Group@umich.edu

Guest Speaker: Ivars Upatnieks, founder and owner of ICNet.

He will discuss the various methods of how to connect to the internet
(shell access, SLIP, CSLIP, PPP, ISDN, and dedicated lines) as well as
