If I leave a newsgroup and type ^Z after trn has printed the
"End of newsgroup alt.sex.rodents" message but before it has
printed anything else, trn will often crash with this message:
Can't recreate .newsrc -- restoring older version.
I know this happens on DECstations; I think I've seen it on
other systems too.
I run trn in rn compatibility mode (I have a symlink
~/decmipsbin/rn -> /mit/sipb/decmipsbin/trn; I just type "rn").
