Jon:
I spoke to this person in the office this morning, just before I
recieved your reply. I told him that KILL files are specific to a
particular user, and that they are stored in the user's own home
directory, and where. I also offered to help him look, but he had to
go to class, so I suggested he come back when he had more time. It's
possible that it's something else, but I'd guess (from what the person
said) that it was a killfile problem, and that's easiest to check.

Charaf:
In the future, if you have a problem with netnews, please consider
asking someone (by filiing a GRIPE with xrn, or sending mail to
<usenet@mit.edu>, or coming by/calling our office (w20-557/253-7788),
etc.) what's happening before you make assumptions and threats of
harassment complaints. The SIPB maintains UseNet entirely as a
(considerably large) volunteer effort, and such things as your message
are exactly the kind of thing that makes some people think that the
effort is not worth the trouble. When I spoke to you in person, you
were very reasonable; I was quite surprised when I read your message
immediately after you left. However, given the impression you
apparently had, I can understand you being very upset; I'm just asking
that you be a little more careful in the future.
