I assumed that attempts had been made to solve today's outage, and given
the denial of service and the nature of nfs, rebooting is a good thing to
try. We harried postmasters understand our priorities. Richard claims he
restored nfs service by restarting the mountd and starting the nfsd's. My
assumption was obviously wrong.
