why are you still supporting unzip 4.1?
Because we are volunteers without an infinite amount of free time, and
upgrading a program to a new version when the enhancements in the new
version are minor is a low priority compared to the many other
volunteer tasks we do (such as making major upgrades or installing
completely new software).
Furthermore, until now, no one asked for us to install the new
versions of zip and unzip.
hasn't 5.0 been out forever?
It's been out for several months. I have installed the newest
versions of zip and unzip on our VAX, RT, RS/6000 and DECstation
platforms. The new versions will show up some time tomorrow.
