So then, it's correct behavior for xrn to produce an unreadable newsrc
file because of a group with a colon in the name?
The answer to this question is not at all clear. Xrn's behavior was
consistent with the newsgroup list it received from the NNTP server.
Therefore, it could justifiably be argued that the fault is in the
news server's willingness to accept a newsgroup name with a ':' in it.
I suspect that the problem does not occur frequently enough for anyone
to expend a significant amount of effort fixing it.
