Someone created a bogus newsgroup which was causing the errors you
observed. The problem has been dealt with. Thanks for letting us
know.
By the way, in this particular case "usenet" probably would have been
a better address to write to than "bug-sipb". The problem was not a
bug, it was a bogus newsgroup on the news server, and the news
administrators who get the "usenet" list are better equipped to deal
with things like that.
