   SYNOPSIS:
xrn occasionally freezes when "read"ing a new newsgroup.

   DESCRIPTION:
This has happened several times, and doesn't seem to be correlated with the
number of unread articles in the group

   REPEAT BY:
Clicking "read" while on the newsgroups menu. After killing and restarting
xrn (at the same or different newsgroup), the same problem is repeated.

I suspect that the behavior you are observing only occurs when you are
looking at the last message in a newsgroup, and when the number of
unread messages in the next newsgroup with unread messages is large.

If that is the case, then what you are observing is xrn's prefetch of
the next newsgroup. The "freezing" you are observing is actually xrn
stopping redisplay while getting information about the next newsgroup
from the news server.

If you wait patiently, it will eventually finish and come back.

If the problem occurs in situations other than the one which I've
described, please let us know.
