If you have two files in a directory foo and foo.F, and you try to melt
foo.F, it will ask you first:
foo already exists; do you wish to overwrite foo (y or n)?
Fine. However, a user came in reporting that if you type ^C at this
point, foo will be deleted. I have verified that this is the case.
This is obviously not the correct behavior.
I have fixed this, installed the fixed binaries and forwarded the
change back to the author.
